After eleven years, I recently stepped away from clinical emergency medicine. My practice took me everywhere from rural outposts to Level I trauma centers, and it allowed me to care for patients ranging from the seconds-old newborn to the centenarian. My clinical shifts, organizational involvement, and advocacy work make me deeply aware that medicine is challenging. I have also been fortunate to be an IWC client since residency, and I have learned that your financial life does not have to be.
Working with IWC throughout my career has enabled me to step away from the bedside and step onto your side. I truly believe that with a strong financial foundation, you can achieve the balance and flexibility you need to get what you want out of life.
I completed medical school at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and my emergency medicine residency at Brown/Rhode Island Hospital. I am active in leadership roles in Florida as well as at the national level.
Behind the title
I live with my husband of over 20 years, Peter, and our beloved dog, Mabel, in Winter Park, Florida. While the summers can be hot and humid, we enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors, and I get plenty of time in my garden.
